Prompt B:
I think the theme of this scene is holding grudges because the two noble families are holding a strong hate for each other for a really long time now and additionally, Romeo can not forget about that lady he loves so much.
Prompt C:
1. Why do the Capulets and Montagues have such a strong hate for each other in the first place?
2. Romeo, why is it really that hard to forget that lady that you do not even have a chance with?
3. Benvolio, how would you describe your relationship with Romeo? How long has it been this way?
4. Why was someone of such high royalty such as the Prince getting involved in all of this combat?
5. How long has it been exactly that the Capulets and Montagues have been fighting so badly?
Prompt E:
I thought your image was really well chosen and thought out. I agree with you on how the feud between the families can only be resolved by certain people, just like how only certain people can pull out the sword.
ReplyDeleteI love your image a lot! I think it accurately depicts the scene you did. Using the stone as a "grudge" is a fantastic idea. Your question number 5 brings up an interesting thought though because knowing how long their feud has been going on would change the view of the story.
ReplyDeleteI like your question about Benvolio and Romeo's relationship. It is obvious that they care deeply for each other, and it would be interesting to have more knowledge on their past. Also, I really liked your image, it fit the scene and the entire play perfectly.
