4.1 Haste for Marriage

Prompt A - In this scene, Paris is anxiously trying to arrange marriage plans with his beloved Juliet. To Paris' understanding, they will get married on Thursday, though to his disbelief, Juliet doesn't actually love him back, nor wants to marry him back. Throughout the scene, Paris is trying to arrange plans to marry Juliet with the Friar. Soon after Juliet greets Paris and the Friar, Paris departs and Juliet then explains to the Friar that she does not love Paris, and would rather marry Romeo, her true love.

Prompt B - The theme throughout this scene would be love, as both Juliet and Paris both have a haste for marriage, though with different people.

Prompt C (Paris) - Soon it will be Thursday, and I will have Juliet as mine own. My father Capulet will have us married on Thursday if I need so, and I would rather be married to my beloved soon enough. Unfortunately before the Marriage, Juliet is very sad due to Tybalts death, which will be very ill minded. Hopefully she will be able to disregard that as a result of our marriage. The sooner the better, as Im very anxious but also scarcely worried that we will not get married.
