Soon the subject changes and her mother becomes enraged at the killer of Tybalt, Romeo and Juliet must agree with her mother in order to keep her secret. The mother then changes to better news of a planned marriage for Juliet on Thursday. Juliet is struck, and exclaims that she will not marry Paris, but Romeo. Her mother is shocked and tells Juliet that this problem will be dealt with by your father. Capulet is extremely mad at Juliet and threatens to kick Juliet out if she disobeys him. Juliet is sad, and she talks with the Nurse for comfort.
